Job Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Sixteen (16) years of education or Master’s degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Security, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (with at least 60% marks) from duly recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. • The candidate must possess 5 years of relevant IT experience from private sector or BPS-17 and above from Govt. / Semi Govt./Autonomous Body. REMUNERATION: The positions are offered market based lump sum package. TENURE: The employment will be on an open contract on lump sum pay package, with six months’ probation period. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Development and implementation of organization's overall cybersecurity strategy and roadmap. • Manage and prioritize cybersecurity projects and initiatives. • Conduct regular assessments of the cybersecurity program's effectiveness and recommend improvements. • Oversee the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls. • Lead the cybersecurity team in responding to security incidents, containing threats and minimizing damage. • Conduct incident investigations and forensics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. • Develop and update incident response plans and procedures. • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., NEPRA/NEP 2023-27). • Conduct compliance audits and assessments. • Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries. • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. • Develop and disseminate threat intelligence reports to stakeholders. • Conduct cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
