REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Sixteen (16) years of education or Master’s degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (with at least 60% marks) from duly recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
• The candidate must possess 5 years of relevant IT experience from private sector or BPS-17 and above from Govt. / Semi Govt./Autonomous Body.
REMUNERATION:
The positions are offered market based lump sum package.
TENURE:
The employment will be on an open contract on lump sum pay package, with six months’ probation period.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Develop, implementation and maintain of multi network, multi user Local Area Networks (LAN), Metropolitan area Networks (MAN), and Wide area Networks (WAN) environments
• Maintain and support scalable routed and switched networks technologies.
• Maintain and In-depth understanding of Virtual Private Network.
• Configure and maintain the organization's internal/external network.
• Monitors business critical systems and recommends improvement.
• Develop and lead the replacement of infrastructure at end of life.
• Maintains servers uptime consistent with Business goals and metrics
• Identify, troubleshoot, solve and document network connectivity performance issues using Network monitoring tools.
• Responsible for creating network faults reports, managing logs, as well as ensuring the connectivity of remote sites.
• Install, configure and maintain network hardware, for example, routers, switches. Firewall, Wireless Technologies, Bridges, IDS/IPS, VPN Gateways, Load Balancing. Servers, Cabling.
• Ensuring security patches are applied in a timely fashion, based on risk analysis of severity, to all hardware/software throughout environment
• Deploy, configure and upgrade network software, such as, enterprise antivirus or diagnostics programs.
• Implement and maintain emergency backup and restore systems for mission-critical network Devices.
• Limiting user access to sensitive data to protect against internal security breaches.
• Serve as a Technical Co-ordination between Different Vendors and ensure SLA execution.
• Perform Network and security assessment.
• Provide assistance to Manager Network on need basis.
• Responsible for designing and implementing systematic solutions that give to increased efficiency, capacity, performance, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery of the platform.
• Administration on Software Solutions projects and coordinating efforts with other Systems Administrators and Network Engineers to support the platform.
• Maintains and updates documentation as needed.
• Suggest improvements to System, Network, Storage performance, capacity and scalability.
• Recommends and implement latest recovery solutions.
• Manage the receipt of hardware including inspection, validation, and shipment tracking
• Facilitate the retirement and disposal of hardware assets in coordination with third-party disposal services.
