Communication Officer

Min. Experience Required: ----------------------------- - Minimum 5 Years of Experience of which 3 Years in relevant field. - Experience in communications, public relations, or media relations,preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audiences. - Strong media relations skills and familiarity with digital communication tools. - Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and terminology is a plus. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Job Specification: -------------------- - Communication Strategy: Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience. - Media Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries related to National CERT. Handle media requests promptly and ensure that all communications are accurate, consistent, and in line with the organization's messaging. - Press Releases and Statements: Draft and release official press releases, statements, and public announcements ensuring that the information is clear, concise, and understandable to a non-technical audience. - Crisis Communication: Be prepared to handle crisis situations and coordinate communication efforts by working closely with other relevant teams to deliver timely updates to the public and stakeholders. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote information sharing and collaboration on cybersecurity matters. Engage with relevant stakeholders to strengthen CERT's communication efforts. - Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the impact of communication efforts, including media coverage, social media engagement, and public feedback.
