Project Manager

i) Minimum 10 years of professional experience in optical transmission networks (DWDM/SDH/OTN) ii) Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with OTN technology iii) Minimum 3 years of project management experience within the telecommunications sector iv) At least one successfully completed major telecom project v) Preference: Experience in project accounting and financial management vi) Preference: Experience managing multi-vendor transmission network projects vii) Preference: PMP or equivalent project management certification viii) PEC registration is mandatory 1. Overall planning, coordination, and execution of the countrywide DWDM network expansion project under the supervision of Project Director/ Director NOC NTC HQs 2. Development and management of comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies 3. Coordination and supervision of Project Engineers deployed at PMO and regional offices (North, Central, South) 4. Vendor management including coordination with equipment suppliers, contractors, for timely delivery and quality assurance 5. Stakeholder management and regular reporting to Project Director/ Director NOC on project progress, challenges, and achievements 6. Coordination with NOC Directorate (Transmission Division) for integration of new DWDM infrastructure with existing network 7. Quality assurance and compliance monitoring to ensure all installations meet technical specifications and industry standards 8. Management of project documentation including technical designs, as-built drawings, test reports, and commissioning certificates 9. Risk assessment and implementation of mitigation measures for technical, operational, and schedule-related risks 10. Coordination with regional maintenance teams for smooth handover of commissioned infrastructure 11. Change management and scope control to manage project variations and change requests 12. Resource planning and allocation across multiple project sites nationwide 13. Establishment and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project execution 14. Preparation and presentation of monthly progress reports, quarterly reviews, and project completion documentation 15. Coordination with NTC regional teams for interconnection and integration requirements 16. Implementation of project management best practices and methodologies across the project lifecycle 17. Capacity building and mentoring of Project Engineers and technical staff 18.
