Job Description

i) Minimum 5 years of professional experience in optical transmission networks (DWDM/SDH/OTN) ii) Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with OTN technology iii) Minimum 1 year of project management or project coordination experience iv) Must have practical experience with DWDM/OTN/telecom equipment installation, commissioning, and testing v) Preference: Site engineering experience for large-scale network rollouts vi) Preference: Familiarity with northern region network infrastructure Vacancies/Slots: 03 at (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi) Max. Age Limit Required: 30 Years + 05 years = 35 years Age Relaxation: As per Government Rules (Age will be calculated from the last date of publication of advertisement). 1. Regional coordination and supervision of DWDM network expansion activities 2. Site surveys and technical assessments of installation locations within the region 3. Coordination with local contractors, vendors, and NTC regional maintenance teams 4. Supervision of DWDM equipment installation, testing, and commissioning at regional sites 5. Technical support and troubleshooting during installation and integration phases 6. Quality assurance and compliance verification of all installation activities in the region 7. Coordination with PMO Islamabad Project Manager for resource allocation and technical guidance 8. Preparation of regional progress reports, site status updates, and technical documentation 9. Management of regional project materials, spare parts inventory, and logistics 10. Liaison with regional NTC offices for site access, permissions, and operational coordination 11. Conducting acceptance tests and preparing test reports for DWDM installations 12. Documentation of as-built configurations, network diagrams, and site information 13. Risk identification and mitigation planning for regional implementation challenges 14. Coordination with other regional Project Engineers for best practice sharing 15. Preparation of handover documentation for transition to regional operations teams 16. Any other tasks assigned by Project Manager for successful regional project delivery Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Telecom)
