Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance. Vacancies/Slots: 01 (at PMO Islamabad) Max. Age Limit Required: 28 Years + 05 years = 33 years Age Relaxation: As per Government Rules (Age will be calculated from the last date of publication of advertisement). i) Minimum 2 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in project accounting ii) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting iii) Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel iv) Experience in budget management and financial controls v) Preference: Experience in government or public sector project accounting 1. Maintenance of all financial records and accounts related to the DWDM project 2. Processing and verification of project expenditures including payments to vendors, contractors, and service providers 3. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the project 4. Budget monitoring and tracking of project expenses against approved budget allocations 5. Processing of invoices and bills from vendors and contractors after technical verification 6. Coordination with NTC Finance Department for release of project funds and reconciliation 7. Maintenance of project cash flow statements and expenditure forecasts 8. Preparation of financial variance reports comparing budgeted versus actual expenses 9. Management of project advances, settlements, and reconciliations 10. Documentation and filing of all financial documents, vouchers, and supporting documents 11. Support to Project Director in budget preparation and revision exercises 12. Tracking of contractual payments and retention money as per contract terms 13. Coordination with Project Controller for alignment of physical and financial progress reporting 14. Preparation of financial documentation for audit purposes 15. Monitoring of vendor payment terms and ensuring timely processing to avoid penalties 16. Support in preparation of cost analysis and financial feasibility studies 17. Maintenance of fixed asset register for DWDM equipment and infrastructure 18. Coordination with external auditors and providing required financial information 19. Any other financial management and accounting tasks assigned by Project Director
