Engineering Supervisor

Vacancies/Slots: 02 (at Karachi, Lahore) Max. Age Limit Required: 25 Years + 05 years = 30 years Age Relaxation: As per Government Rules (Age will be calculated from the last date of publication of advertisement). i) Minimum 1 year of hands on experience of DWDM/SDH/OTN ii) Strong knowledge of network configurations through NMS. iii) Practical experience with transmission equipment installation, testing and troubleshooting. iv) Preference: Experience in telecommunication sector project deployment 1. Assist Project Engineers and Development Wings in DWDM/OTN site preparation and site readiness activities 2. Ensure site readiness before equipment delivery and installation, and assist in conducting pre-installation inspections 3. Assist in maintaining close coordination with Project Teams for equipment delivery and installation schedules 4. Support Project Engineers and Development Wings during installation of DWDM/OTN racks, shelves, power systems, and associated infrastructure 5. Coordinate with on-site teams and PMO to resolve technical constraints during installation and commissioning phases 6. Assist in verification of environmental conditions required for telecom equipment, including temperature, humidity etc. 7. Support troubleshooting of site-level technical issues affecting DWDM/OTN equipment deployment 8. Maintain technical site documentation including network connectivity diagrams, site layouts, readiness checklists, inspection reports, and site status records 9. Support Project Engineers in technical coordination with vendors, and local NTC teams at site level 10. Assist in preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly technical progress reports of installations and migration. 11. Maintaining inventory of old DWDM/SDH and new OTN/DWDM equipment. 12. Assist in conducting Pre-PAT and PAT activities 13. Support migration and cutover activities to ensure smooth migration of services onto the new DWDM/OTN infrastructure Diploma DAE (Telecom)
