Deputy Director R&I Software Design

Job Scale/ Grade*: NFAPS-08 (Equivalent to BPS-18) • Supports the Additional Director (Software Design) in creating and maintaining forensic software tools. • Implements new features, performs code optimization, and ensures secure data handling. • Prepares documentation, test cases, and release notes for software projects. • Collaborates with hardware and OSINT teams to integrate software solutions. • Contributes to research publications, internal tools, and automation initiatives. A minimum MS/M.Phil (18 years) degree in Computer Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Information Security, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant disciplines from a local HEC Recognized University, Or An equivalent foreign Master’s degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan. At least five years of experience in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Network Security or AI with demonstrated managerial skills at a large IT company or a University experience in overseeing research projects or departments. Focus Areas: Proven record of development of software tools for data recovery, analysis and reporting OR integration of AI/ML models into forensic software for enhanced analysis capabilities. Demonstrated ability to design and implement user-friendly forensic tools, computer systems, antivirus and API integration etc. Punjab (1) Job Location: Islamabad 5 years of general age relaxation has already been added.
