Deputy Director R&I - OSINT/SCRIPTING

Job Scale/ Grade*: NFAPS-08 (Equivalent to BPS-18) • Develops and executes OSINT-based R&D projects and automation scripts to enhance forensic investigations. • Designs tools for data collection, correlation, and intelligence generation. • Collaborates with software developers to integrate OSINT modules into forensic systems. • Trains staff on OSINT best practices and ensures compliance with data protection regulations. • Supports the Director and Additional Directors by developing innovative analytical solutions. A minimum MS/M.Phil (18 years) degree in Computer Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Information Security, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines from a local HEC Recognized University, Or An equivalent foreign Masters degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan. At least five years of experience in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Network Security or Artificial Intelligence with demonstrated managerial skills at a large IT company or a university experience in overseeing research projects or departments. Focus Areas: Automation of forensic workflows using scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell etc. Development of custom scripts for data extraction, parsing, and analysis. Hands-on experience in scripting for digital forensics is required. Demonstrated ability to develop Artificial Intelligent tools for log analysis, malware detection, and network traffic analysis.
