Computer and Mobile Hardware Tech

Job Scale/ Grade*: NFAPS-05(Equivalent to BPS-14) • Set up and configure new computer systems, mobile devices, hardware components, and peripheral equipment such as printers and scanners. • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and hardware-level repairs on computers and mobile devices to ensure smooth operation. • Diagnose and resolve hardware and selected software issues, communicating with users to understand and address problems effectively. • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, explaining technical matters in clear, non-technical language. • Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, components, and supplies, tracking installations, repairs, and replacements. • Perform data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss. • Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, servicing, and repairs when required. • Create and maintain detailed documentation of service requests, repairs, and maintenance activities. • Monitor system and equipment performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency. A minimum of BSc/BTech/DAE or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or any relevant technical field from a local HEC Recognized University, Or An equivalent foreign bachelor degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile/computer device hardware repair. Demonstrated experience with various mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and Windows devices. Experience in Digital Forensic preferably in Chip-Off is a plus.
