Forensic Analyst Explosives

Job Scale/ Grade*: NFAPS-08 (Equivalent to BPS-18) • Performs forensic analysis in compliance with approved standards and prepares technical reports. • Maintain evidence chain-of-custody and documentation integrity. • Operate and troubleshoot scientific instruments. • Technical & administrative review of cases • Maintain and update Logs and testing record. • Reagent Preparation. • Keep the lab area clean & tidy. • Participate in research and method development/validation. A minimum of BS/BE/MSc (16 years education) in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Forensic Science or Explosive Chemistry or Physics or Pharm-D from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Or An equivalent foreign bachelor degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan. Should have at least 6 months certification to work as Explosive/Trace Chemistry analyst. At least five years relevant experience as bench analyst in a designated forensic laboratory of Federal/ Provincial Government of Pakistan.
