Forensic Analyst Finger Print

Job Scale/ Grade*: NFAPS-08 (Equivalent to BPS-18) • Assist the SFA in managing daily laboratory operations and case workflow. • Conduct examinations of Latent Fingerprints. • Provide technical support and guidance to AFA and trainees. • Ensure adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all examinations. • Operate and maintains specialized equipment (DCS-5, comparison Software, Alternate light sources, fuming chambers, microscopes, DSLR camara etc.) • Review case files, reports, and documentation for accuracy and completeness. • Monitor and reports on laboratory performance and compliance with Quality Manuals. • Assist in the implementation and updating of revised SOPs and quality standards. • Participate in internal training, proficiency testing, and research initiatives. • Prepare detailed technical reports and assists in courtroom presentations when required. A minimum of BS/BE/MSc (16 years education) in natural or applied sciences or equivalent from a local HEC Recognized University, Or An equivalent foreign bachelor degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan. At least 6 months certification to work as a Finger Print analyst. At least five years relevant experience as bench analyst in a designated forensic laboratory of Federal/ Provincial Government of Pakistan.
