• Conduct inspections of government assets and operations to ensure public accountability and compliance with established rules and regulations.
• Monitor departmental activities to verify adherence to applicable laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.
• Investigate complaints and cases of fraud, embezzlement, or financial irregularities, and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Oversee and report on the performance and efficiency of government functions related to audit operations.
• Coordinate with various departments and agencies on audit plans, reports, and the timely completion of audit-related tasks.
• Contribute to parliamentary oversight by providing accurate and timely reports and information to the Auditor General’s office.
• Assist in verifying, certifying, and ensuring compliance of audits involving public funds in accordance with the Federal Audit Guidelines.
• Maintain and safeguard official, confidential, and classified records in compliance with prescribed procedures.
• Support senior officials by assisting with administrative tasks, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth execution of audit-related operations.
A minimum of CA Inter / CMA / ACCA / MBA Finance / M. Com / or of 16 Years of Education in Finance & Accounts from a local HEC Recognized University,
Or
An equivalent foreign bachelor degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan.
Preferably 1-2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or book-keeping.
