Min. Experience Required: Minimum of 5(five) years for Manager and minimum of 3(three) years for Assistant Manager of relevant experience in/with a bank/FI/DFI in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing the reinsurance program (Quota Share, Surplus, Excess of Loss, Stop Loss, etc.) aligned with the ECA’s risk appetite.
Coordinate treaty renewals and facultative placements with reinsurers and brokers.
Prepare underwriting information packs, exposure data, and portfolio analytics for reinsurers.
Participate in negotiations related to pricing, capacity, retention levels, and coverage terms.
Monitor ceded portfolio performance and treaty utilization levels.
Track aggregate exposures, country limits, obligor concentrations, and sectoral risks.
Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate reinsurance adequacy.
Support capital optimization and risk retention decisions.
Administer reinsurance treaties including bordereaux preparation, premium statements, and recovery calculations.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to reinsurers in accordance with treaty terms.
Reconcile reinsurance accounts and coordinate claim recoveries.
Maintain treaty documentation, endorsements, and contract wordings.
Coordinate with underwriting and claims teams for large loss notifications.
Prepare and submit reinsurance claims documentation.
Follow up on recoveries and ensure timely collection from reinsurers.
Monitor loss ratios and treaty performance metrics
Maintain relationships with local and international reinsurers and brokers.
Conduct market intelligence on reinsurance pricing trends and capacity.
Represent the organization in reinsurance meetings, renewals, and conferences where required.
Provide guidance to different teams for interpretation & application of MIS.
Support regulatory inspections and audit reviews.
Any other task assigned by line management.
Core Competencies
Strong understanding of reinsurance treaty structures (QS, XoL, Stop Loss).
Knowledge of Trade Credit Insurance underwriting principles.
Exposure management and portfolio analytics capability.
Familiarity with international reinsurance markets and brokers.
Understanding of reinsurance accounting and claims recoveries.
Proficiency in Excel and portfolio analysis tools.

Ability to operate independently with a strong attention to detail.
Qualification:
Minimum 16 (sixteen) years’ education having majored in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or any other relevant field, from a leading local or international university recognised by the Higher Education Commission(H.E.C.) of Pakistan.
