Qualification: LLB / LLM or Juris Doctor (International Law).
Experience: 8-10 years in trade litigation, administrative law, WTO dispute settlement, Domestic High Courts / Tribunals, preferably in International Trade Law.
Mastery of WTO Anti-Dumping Agreement, Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (ASCM), and Safeguard Agreements; expert knowledge of the National Tariff Commission Act and Rules; high-level legislative drafting and litigation strategies; representation before Tribunals and Higher Courts; development of legal frameworks for the acceptance of electronic evidence, e-filing, and digital “Confidential Data Vaults” to meet evidentiary standards for trade litigation; formulation of robust litigation strategies; conduct of legal research to analyze the impact of pending court cases on NTC operations; preparation of statements, written arguments, appeals, petitions, plaints, and other legal pleadings; maintenance and management of court case records in an organized and systematic manner; and effective coordination of litigation matters. Presence required primarily in Lahore and Southern Punjab.
