Qualification: Graduate, preferably law graduate from an HEC recognized institution with 3+ years of experience.
Skills / Responsibilities:
• Support preparation of responses, submissions, pleadings, and legal documentation for proceedings before courts, tribunals, appellate forums, and other competent authorities.
• Manage the court processes and related matters.
• Inputs for litigation and appellate proceedings.
• Comparative studies on trade and tariff-related legal issues.
• Maintain case dairy of court work and related matters.
• Periodic progress reports on assigned tasks.
• Conduct legal research on domestic and international trade laws, WTO Agreements, trade remedy regimes, administrative law, and related legal frameworks.
• Assist in drafting legal opinions, briefing notes, summaries, reports, legal memoranda, and analytical papers.
• Assist in the legal review of anti-dumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard investigations conducted by the Commission.
• Maintain legal databases, records, research repositories, and case-law compilations.
• Perform any other legal research, analytical, or drafting assignments entrusted by the Chairman, Member Legal, Secretary, or Head of Legal Wing.
