Job Description:
i. Review existing hosting, network, and platform environments of government entities seeking Raast integration.
ii. Assess infrastructure readiness for high-volume, real-time payment processing, identifying gaps in performance, availability, security, and scalability.
iii. Recommend improvements to network, storage, server, and database configurations to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
iv. Define and enforce infrastructure standards covering:
a. High availability and redundancy
b. Disaster recovery and business continuity
c. Performance and scalability for high-volume transactions
v. Develop reference architectures, guidelines, and checklists for secure and resilient deployment of Raast integration components.
vi. Support government entities during integration by providing hands-on guidance in:
a. Network security (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention)
b. API gateway configuration and secure connectivity
vii. Conduct infrastructure validation and certification for entities prior to live onboarding.
viii. Liaise with all stakeholders (including SBP, hosting data centers, and government IT teams) to ensure seamless connectivity, network stability, and compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
ix. Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and vendors to align infrastructure designs with overall Raast integration goals.
x. Maintain documentation of infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and incident resolution records for governance and audit purposes.
xi. Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure the availability, performance, and security of integrated systems.
xii. Recommend and implement security controls, backup strategies, and recovery plans in line with organizational guidelines and industry best practices.
xiii. Participate in periodic audits, vulnerability assessments, and infrastructure stress testing.
xiv. Infrastructure readiness assessments and gap reports for onboarding entities
xv. Certified onboarding of government entities with validated network, database, and platform configurations.
xvi. Infrastructure monitoring and incident resolution reports.
xvii. Technical documentation, including connectivity diagrams, DR plans, and configuration standards.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
Experience Requirements:
I. 9 years of professional experience in system administration, network architecture, and/or database management, ideally in high-volume or real-time payment environments.
II. Demonstrated experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications.
III. Experience managing or supporting high-volume transaction systems and large-scale government or financial platforms.
IV. Strong understanding of infrastructure security, resilience, and disaster recovery planning.
