Job Description

Job Description: i. Assess existing department’s IT systems, including ERPs, payment portals, related applications and network/connectivity infrastructure, to evaluate readiness for Raast integration. ii. Define the target architecture for government entities connecting to Raast, while ensuring all related internal applications, data, and security layers are addressed. iii. Design and finalize the Raast Connect (Raast aggregation) architecture model, clearly articulating roles, responsibilities, data flows, and governance mechanisms. iv. Develop reference architectures, integration patterns, and technical blueprints to be re-used across multiple government entities. v. Ensure full alignment of all solution designs with: a. Raast technical and operational standards b. Guidelines and regulatory requirements by SBP. c. Approved API security frameworks and best practices vi. Define and enforce architectural guardrails to ensure consistency, interoperability, and long-term scalability across implementations. vii. Review and validate solution designs, technical proposals, and implementation approaches submitted by government entities, their vendors, or system integrators. viii. Provide solution architecture support for key government use cases, including but not limited to: a. Government disbursements (including bulk disbursements e.g., salaries, pensions, social protection payments, etc.) b. High-volume collections (e.g., taxes, fees, levies, and utility payments). ix. Translate business and operational requirements into secure, resilient, and performant technical designs. x. Provide hands-on technical oversight during implementation, testing, and rollout phases to ensure adherence to approved architectures and standards. xi. Support integration testing, certification, and onboarding processes for government entities connecting to Raast. xii. Identify and proactively mitigate architectural, scalability, and security risks during execution. xiii. Act as a trusted technical advisor to government stakeholders, Raast operating entity(s), SBP teams, and external vendors. xiv. Support technical discussions, design workshops, and decision forums with senior public sector and regulatory stakeholders. xv. Contribute to the development of technical documentation, architecture notes, and decision records for governance and audit purposes. Educational Qualification: I. Minimum a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Experience Requirements: I. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in enterprise architecture, related to digital payments, fintech, or large-scale financial systems. II. Hands-on Raast integration experience (mandatory), including direct exposure to Raast APIs, onboarding processes, and technical standards. III. Prior experience working with government entities, regulators, or large public-sector financial systems is strongly preferred
