DDO (Accounts/Finance)

Qualifications: MBA(Finance)/EMBA/ICMA/ACCA or a Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Accounts. Addl Certification will be a plus.

Age: max 50 years
(Five years’ general age relaxation has already been added to the upper age limit; no other age relaxation is admissible.)

Experience

Minimum 5 Years of Experience, of which 3 x years of relevant post qualification experience working as a Finance / Accounts Manager, processing of bills, payable, receivables, and complex financial transactions, reconciliation of funds and cash flows/plan, financial projection, and
conducting financial analysis and due diligence, knowledge of tax laws, sales tax, etc. ICMA, ACCA. Must have 2 x years of experience in PSDP-ICT projects. At least 2 x years of experience working with AGPR on public funds is mandatory.

Job Description:

• DDO (Finance and Accounts) is responsible for advising the Principal Accounting Officer on all financial, budgetary, and accounting matters. Well-versed in Government procedures of accounts, financial management of Government funds, dealing with Federal Audit, AGPR, FTO, experience with ERP system, MS office and effective communication skills, etc. • DDO (Accounts/ Finance) has expertise in record keeping, maintenance of accounts, and compilation of reports. • Command over spoken and written English, with good presentation skills, as well as IT proficiency are a must. • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills with fluency in written and spoken English. • Ability to work under pressure and to resolve problems in an efficient manner. • Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment. • Well-versed with office productivity, MS Excel, Internet, and email applications. • He/She will prepare and submit bills to AGPR for clearance. • Must have performed as a financial Auditor. • Implementation of SAP, ERP, and RAAST for assignment accounts under E-AAA framework is a plus.
